Introducing Scott Threlfall, Apadmi’s new Digital Product Director
by Apadmi Careers|Thu May 19 2022
The best digital products are created by really understanding the unique challenges of a business, before determining how technology can offer a solution.
Our new Digital Product Director has a proven approach to creating digital-first products and services and is here to support our clients in getting the most out of their mission-critical products.
Scott joins Apadmi from digital services provider Nasstar, where as Head of Product and Solutions Director, he played a key role in defining the company’s offer, managed the product catalogue and helped to deliver fantastic growth.
We asked Scott to tell us more about his passion for mobile and the opportunity he sees, joining Apadmi in a phase of similar rapid growth.
Welcome to the team Scott. Tell us about your role at Apadmi and your immediate priorities?
My role at Apadmi is about driving innovation and helping our clients ensure their digital products and services are optimised to meet their business needs. I’ll be focusing on enriching our existing capabilities with innovation across AI, unified communications, data science and next generation cloud.
What made you want to join Apadmi?
We live in a mobile-first world and our ability to influence customer behaviour, impact the customer lifecycle and innovate to create new customer journeys, is stronger now than ever before. Having seen what the team at Apadmi have achieved and admired their work for some time, I wanted to help drive this business to new heights.
What are the current trends in the tech industry and what does that mean for Apadmi and our clients?
There are several growth trends from the last couple of years. The key ones are cloud computing (automation and integration), artificial intelligence, mobile app innovation and the rise of integration platform as a service (iPaaS).
Apadmi will maintain value in its digital services by embracing these trends and implementing some of them in our own infrastructure. Cloud computing, with particular importance placed on automation and integration, is a key area of growth. Businesses are looking to reduce the number of partners and systems they deal with - opting in favour of tech partners who can deliver several, if not all, elements of their IT ecosystem.
Creating a digital services product offer which combines new technologies and integrates independent data streams into one single customer view, to personalise the customer journey and allow real-time calls to action, will be a big part of what we do going forward.
Which industry sector are you most excited about exploring?
Retail has gone through so much change before and during the pandemic, so as digital technology moves forward, I feel it’s going to be the sector with the most opportunities. Apadmi’s expertise in this sector with the likes of Co-op, Very Group and Domino’s means it's a really exciting growth area.
In your short time at Apadmi so far, what has struck you most about the business?
The quality of our staff is first rate and their willingness to go the extra mile for our clients is above and beyond anything I've seen in recent years. Working at Apadmi is made super easy by the company’s work ethic.
