Asda partners with Apadmi to accelerate mobile growth

Asda has officially partnered with Manchester-based mobile experts Apadmi to scale their Asda Rewards app.

Asda Rewards is the supermarket giant’s loyalty app which came to market in 2022. The app gives customers the opportunity to earn Asda Pounds into a Cashpot which they can spend at Asda either in store or online. With ambitious business goals to achieve over the next 5 years, Asda were looking for a strategic partner to inject pace and facilitate growth.

Apadmi’s experience with other leading retailers such as Domino’s, Argos and Very impressed Asda, whose headquarters are also Northern-based in nearby Leeds.

Working with Apadmi is already allowing Asda to prioritise, define and deliver exciting new features with high impact for both customers and the business. The collaboration sees Apadmi’s development, strategic and app marketing teams working closely with Asda’s teams to swiftly achieve these goals.

The pair have already worked together alongside various delivery partners to launch the new Asda Rewards Baby Club, which gives a 10% cashpot across all baby items to all members who sign up from now until the end of June. Apadmi’s App Store Optimisation specialists have been promoting the new initiative via In-App Events in the app stores to maximise visibility and drive downloads for the Rewards app.
