Apadmi delivers improved CX as iD Mobile reaches 2 million subscribers

Leading digital product expert Apadmi has helped iD Mobile, the award-winning mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) from Currys, to improve the digital customer experience of their growing base (of over 2 million subscribers).

Committed to providing exceptional customer experience, iD Mobile has partnered with Apadmi to create an all new iOS and Android app which launched earlier this year. The fast-growing network has added 488,000 new subscribers in the last year to October 2024.

Blending affordability, flexibility, and feature-rich functionality, iD Mobile has earned a strong reputation as the value network, being recognised as “great value” by Which? for a third successive time. Apadmi and iD Mobile are working together to embed this value proposition into the network’s digital customer experience.

The app has already amassed more than 1 million customer registrations during a remarkable period of growth for the business, further cementing iD Mobile’s position as a leading MVNO player in the UK telecoms market.

Rohit Vedi, Managing Director of iD Mobile said: “Reaching 2 million subscribers is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team. We remain committed to providing customers with the best value on the latest technology as we continue to strive for excellence in everything we do. With that, we are pleased to be working with Apadmi as they understand our vision and share our passion for delivering seamless customer experiences."

Apadmi has a history of developing next-generation mobile experiences for major brands and has helped unlock growth for large organisations including Domino’s, Sykes Cottages, Co-op, Greene King and the NHS.

Nick Black, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Apadmi said: "We're thrilled to be supporting iD Mobile as it transforms its mobile offering. Just like iD Mobile, we are dedicated to creating exceptional customer experiences and we’re confident we can deliver real impact for both iD Mobile’s customers, and the brand’s position in the market. We’re excited about what comes next from our ongoing partnership."
